Culture & Health

Working group on "Culture and its impact on health"

On the basis of a proposal from the Region of Västerbotten, Committee 3 has launched a working group on "Culture and its impact on health". Starting from the observation that cultural exercise and interaction can enhance a person's well being and improve its health status, AER wants to establish contacts with existing networks, practitioners and researchers in order to inventory interesting research projects and examples of best practices. Regions that dispose of experience in this field are invited to share it and to send their contributions (see contact details below). The work will lead up to a presentation in a European conference that is supposed to take place in autumn 2010.

Interested Regions should contact the AER Committee 3 Secretariat.
