Regional expertise

The Regional Expertise Centre aims at optimising all the expertise exchanged by European regions within the Assembly of European Regions.
It gathers : (1) instruments allowing for regions to share experience (peer reviews, Rur@ct programme, awards; (2) tools to compile and reference all the knowledge and expertise exchanged (best practices database, rur@ct database…) and (3) a coordination structure for regarding funding opportunities for interregional cooperation.

The point here is to log the best achievements in each of our member regions and from across all AER Committees and to optimise access to these good practices for all our members. The goal of this regional expertise centre is to give concrete and practical input to the Committees’ work, by consolidating regions’ experiences, and to support cross-fertilization among Committees.
