The European Final of the Competition

AER together with Brussels Capital Region is organising the European final that will take place on 19 May 2010 in Brussels. At the same day of the competition, the European event “What can Europe do for you(th)?”, an information day about jobs, education, culture, travels and languages will  be held.

11 winners of the national level competitions from across Europe will meet in Brussels to compete at European level. The rules of the European final will be similar to the rules of the regional and national competitions. That means:

• Teams of young people compete against each other to present their views of Europe in an original and informative way.

• All participants must be between the ages of 14 and 18 and they should be a maximum of 5 young people per team.

• Each team prepares a 5-7 minute presentation, which addresses the question: “What does Europe mean to you?” The presentations can be made in any format.

• At the end the jury decides on a winning team.

The event will be attended by the European media. The winning team will be awarded a prize from the AER and Brussels Capital Region
